At STax, we’ve been exploring ways to enhance team well-being, recognising that it plays a crucial role in delivering the consistently high level of service our clients expect.
To guide us, we surveyed our team, and here’s what they shared:
• Many feel physically or emotionally drained by the end of the workday.
• The last hour of the day is considered the least productive, while the morning is the most productive.
• Over half of the team reported feeling less motivated now compared to when they first started at STax.
• Most believe that working fewer hours would lead to greater happiness.
• A majority prefer starting work earlier, before 9am.
In response to these insights, we’ve adjusted our working structure. We’ve redistributed hours across the week to ensure our clients experience no disruption while allowing our team to start and finish earlier.
We’ll continue to monitor our performance and team wellbeing, making adjustments where necessary.
We’re confident this approach will result in a more rested, motivated, and energised STax team! The question is, what are our team members going to do with the extra time they have when they aren’t working?
