Is your Furnished Holiday Let a source of Unclaimed Capital Allowances?
If your property meets the criteria for being classified as a Furnished Holiday Let, you could make a claim. This provides a significant advantage, allowing you to claim Capital Allowances on items such as furniture and equipment or fixtures such as integrated kitchen units, bathroom fittings, electrical circuits and much more!
What Buildings Qualify?
For a property to qualify, the following criteria must be met:
- The property must be available for letting for 210 days a year.
- It must be let for 105 days a year (the let days test).
- The property must not normally be let for periods of more than 31 consecutive days to the same person.
